Mackinac Straits Roadside Park

We stopped off at a roadside park between Cheboygan and Mackinaw City on our way to see the Mighty Mack and ended up staying there for about an hour. Not only could you see the bridge from the park, but the beach had rocks and even benches for us to stop and have a snack. There are plenty of roadside parks off US-23, and we stopped at a few of them, but Mackinac Straits was one of our favorites. It was a perfect break from driving to get out, stretch our legs, and wade in the water to look for rocks. The park is closed in the colder months, but you can still park off US-23 to access it.
