Esrey Park

Esrey Park is a roadside park on the shores of Lake Superior between Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor. The park features restrooms, a rocky outcropping complete with stairs and paths, and numerous seating areas. It’s a beautiful stop on the route to the northernmost village in Michigan that’s worth getting out of the car for. I won’t soon forget feeling Lake Superior’s icy breeze whipping through the warm spring air as we meandered around the park, taking photographs. If you just need to go to the bathroom or want to take in Lake Superior’s gusto, take a pit stop at Esrey Park.
